Setting permissions for Diligent One reports

You can set permissions for users and committees to access custom reports. This topic explains how to manage permissions. For more information about the Diligent One Platform, refer to Diligent One overview.

  1. From the Diligent One Platform, select Share or Manage permission on a report's row to open the permissions window.

  2. To search for a user or committee, enter their name in the Search field.

  3. To set permissions so an entire committee can view the report, select the dropdown menu, and then select "Can view".

  4. To restrict an entire committee from viewing the report, select No access.

  5. By default, user permissions are the same as their committee, but you can set custom permissions for each user. To expand the list of users in a committee, select the arrow next to a committee's name.

  6. The permission for each user will be set to "Committee default". To set a custom permission, which is applied to the user across all their committees, select the dropdown menu next to a user's name.

  7. To restrict the user from viewing the report, select No access.

  8. To allow a user to view the report, select Can view.

  9. A warning icon appears next to committees with custom permissions. To remove custom permissions for all users, and return to the committee default, select Clear custom permissions.

  10. To filter the list of committees and users by permission type, select All permissions, and then select an option from the menu.

  11. To share the report with the users and committees with access to it, select Share. When you share the report, it will be visible to directors. For more information, see Diligent One overview.
