Configuring risk attributes

Define custom fields in Strategy that capture different risk attributes to help you characterize, assess, and report on risks. The risk attributes you define apply to all risks.

How it works

Risk attributes are the qualities, characteristics, or features of a risk. By defining risk attributes, you can record different types of information about risks.

Example risk attributes

  • Risk type a classification of the risk into one more categories
  • Risk magnitude a ranking that helps to determine which risks need to be mitigated first

Default risk attributes

There are 3 default risk attribute fields that are configurable:

Default risk attribute Field type

Custom risk attributes

You can specify a total of 10 custom risk attribute fields to apply to all risks. The total includes the default risk attributes that can be edited or deleted at any time.
