Creating and deleting tags

In Strategy, you can create tags to classify and filter risks.

How it works

You can create tags and apply them to risks. Tags are typically based on themes for reporting or tracking purposes.

Once you create a tag and apply it to risks, anybody who uses Strategy can use the tag to filter risks on the following places in Strategy.

  • Risk Profile
  • Risk Heatmap
  • Strategy Heatmap

Permissions

Strategy Admins can create and delete tags from the Settings page or Assessment tab. Oversight Executives can only create and remove tags from the Assessment tab.

Create a tag

Once you create a tag and apply it to risks, all Strategy users can use tags to filter risks.

From the Settings page

  1. Open the Strategy app.
  2. Click Settings.
  3. Click Tags.
  4. Enter a name for the tag and press Enter.

Result The tag is created. You can apply this tag to risks during risk assessment.

From a risk

  1. Open the Strategy app.
  2. Do one of the following:
    • In the Risk Profile, click the risk you want to open.
    • Select Heatmaps > Strategy Heatmap, click on a bubble, and click the appropriate risk listed under Associated Risks.
    • Select Heatmaps > Risk Heatmap, hover your cursor over a risk in the list, and click Assess This Risk.
  3. Click the Assessment tab if it does not open by default.
  4. In the Risk Tags field, enter a name for the tag and press Enter.

Result The tag is created and applied to the risk.

Delete a tag

If you no longer need a tag, you can delete it.

Caution

If you delete a tag, the tag is permanently removed from any risks it has been applied to, and is no longer available to use in Strategy.

  1. Open the Strategy app.
  2. Click Settings.
  3. Click Tags.
  4. Click next to the tag name.

Result The tag is permanently deleted.
