Managing events from the BoardEffect home page

You can access, review and manage events directly from the home page, including your upcoming events and calendar of events.

  1. Navigate to the My Upcoming Events section on the BoardEffect home page. An indicator next to My Upcoming Events shows the number of your upcoming events.

    Note

    System administrators can access all events.

  2. Select Open Calendar in the top right of the event card to access the calendar of your past, current, and upcoming events.

  3. Select Export, and then choose Export Events to a personal or work calendar. Alternatively, choose Subscribe to events with a personal or work calendar. To learn more about each export option, refer to Export events to an external calendar and Subscribe to events with an external calendar.

    Note

    The Open Calendar and Export options display in My Upcoming Events section even when there is no future event that you need to review.

  4. In the main section of the event card, you can view the details of upcoming events, including the event title, workroom, date and location. To access additional details about an upcoming event, select its title. The event page opens. Here, y ou can take the same actions as if you were editing or managing the event in Workroom Event.

  5. To review attachments, select Open Attachments.

  6. To add an attachment, select Add Attachment.

  7. To respond to an event invitation, select one of the options on the RSVP dropdown menu. To learn more, refer to RSVP to an Event.

  8. Select the options icon

    and choose the relevant option to duplicate or delete an event for which you are an administrator. You can also export events to Outlook or Google.

    Note

    System administrators can duplicate, edit, or delete all events.
