Roll call
After the meeting begins, you can take roll call to record which members are present and determine if there is a quorum.
Note
A quorum must be met before members can proceed with motions and votes. For more information about voting, see the Initiate a vote section. To record the roll call, you can add it to the meeting minutes.
-
To start a live meeting, you can open the Agenda Builder and select Live Meeting. The Live Meeting page displays.
-
To take roll call, select Roll Call at the top. A panel displays with a list of voting members and any non-voting standard attendees.
Voting members can cast their vote on the motions brought forward during the meeting. Non-voting standard attendees can be present during the meeting, but they cannot vote. To learn more about voting, see Initiate a vote.
Note
The list of voting members and non-voting standard attendees is created during the implementation process. To add, remove, or edit the list, contact the Community Support team at 866-877-1172 for assistance.
-
To record who is present, select the radio button against the member’s name in the Present column. By default, the majority of members must be present to meet quorum requirements.
-
To record which members are not present, select the radio button against the member’s name in the Absent column.
-
If the majority of members are absent, the Quorum lost notification displays, warning you that motions and voting are disabled. Select Got it to close the window.
-
Should a member arrive to the meeting late, or if they are absent when a vote takes place, select the radio button against their name in the Late column.
-
To close the panel, select close on the top right.
