Assign Security Groups to Existing Entities

Users can assign security groups to existing entities from the relevant entity record.

You can assign security groups to individual entities or for entity types like registrations in jurisdictions and committees, you can apply the security groups of the parent company to them. To apply the company's security groups to its related entities, refer to Apply Company Security Groups to Related Entities.

To assign security groups to the individual entity types:

1. Open the entity record you want to assign the security group to.

   You can open entity records by going to the relevant search page under All Searches and selecting Open next to the record in the list.

2. On the entity's details page, select Wizards > Administration > Security Groups Wizard.

   For committees, select Options next to the name of the committee and then Security Groups Wizard.

3. In the Security Groups Wizard that opens, select the security groups you want to assign.

4. Select Finish to complete the wizard.
