Rsam integration with Diligent One and ACL Robotics

Rsam customers are entitled to an integrated instance of ACL Robotics Enterprise Edition. If your organization uses Rsam, you can use Analytics' data processing and analysis tools, and view and share your Rsam data in Diligent One using detailed storyboards and visualizations.

Options for viewing Rsam data in Diligent One

There are two ways to view your Rsam data in Diligent One. You can use either method, or both. They are not mutually exclusive.

• Use Rsam to access Diligent One and view pre-configured storyboards we've designed for you. This method has fewer steps, and is designed to be the quickest way to view Rsam data in Diligent One. For more information, see Viewing Rsam data in storyboards.
• Use the Rsam data connector in Analytics to bring your Rsam saved searches into Analytics. Then, export your data from Analytics into Results and set up your own storyboards. This method is more involved, but gives you total control over the data you see in Diligent One. This process is typically done by an Rsam administrator or someone who has access to, and is familiar with, Analytics. For more information, see Connecting to Rsam.

Setting up Rsam-Diligent One integration (Rsam administrators)

Before anyone in your organization can access Rsam storyboards in Diligent One, you, as an Rsam administrator, need to request integration and do some initial setup.

Rsam requirements

To be eligible for integration, your Rsam instance needs to meet the following criteria:

• You must be running Rsam version 9.2.2209 or later. If you are not on this version but plan to upgrade in the near future, you can request integration anyway and we can schedule it after you upgrade.
• You must be live on at least one Rsam module or use case. This is because you need production data generated from an Rsam saved search, which Rsam feeds into Diligent One.

Other requirements and considerations

You can take steps now to ensure the following requirements are in line with your IT and security policies. This will streamline integration later.

• Allow installation of the ACL for Windows desktop application on your administrators' workstations. ACL for Windows contains Analytics, the platform used to pull data from Rsam and develop scripts that will automate this process.
• Allow Rsam to redirect to Diligent One. Users will authenticate with Diligent One through Rsam.
• Allow your Rsam instance and Diligent One to exchange data and sync users.
• Be aware that your organization and Diligent will need to put agreements in place that grant access to Diligent One/ACL Robotics.
• To access ACL for Windows through SSO, you will need to input the API key generated for the Rsam API user.

Request integration

The integration process happens in four steps. It includes guidance from our support team and a detailed integration guide with step-by-step instructions to manage your integration.

1. Fill out the following form: info.wegalvanize.com/getrsamrobots
2. We will schedule a call with you to prepare for integration. This call will cover requirements, outline some keys to success, and give you a chance to ask questions.
3. Activate your integration. This process will take a few hours, and you will work directly with a member of our support team. We will schedule it for a date and time that works best for you.
4. Optimize your use of ACL Robotics.
   • We will give you a tour of ACL Robotics and show you how to push data from Rsam to ACL Robotics, schedule that push, and generate storyboards with a pre-configured scripts.
   • We will introduce you to Academy, where you can learn more about how to create scripts, schedule robots, and generate storyboards.
   • We will show you how to take advantage of the pre-configured storyboards that are available to you.
   • We will offer guidance to help you deliver on your organization's wish list, like creating reports, automating KPI and KRI reporting, and satisfying stakeholder requests.
