Compare Data for a Company
Company details stored with Companies House can be downloaded into a comparison report and reviewed against data held in Diligent Entities to ensure consistency.
You also have the option to compare data for multiple companies at the same time. Refer to Compare Data for Multiple Companies to learn more.
Before you start
Make sure the application is set up for electronic filing and data download from Companies House. Refer to Set up Electronic Filing for the United Kingdom and Enable Data Download from Companies House to learn more.

Open the company record and select Wizards > Electronic Filing > Data Download Wizard.
The Companies House Electronic Filing Wizard displays.

On the Data Download Type page, select Companies House XML Gateway, then select Next.
The Company Data Request option enables presenters to download data for managed companies free of charge, provided that they are already the presenters for these companies and the application is licenced for electronic filing and data download.

On the Company Details page, choose the details to download and select the Compare after Download option to generate a comparison report, then select Next.
The company number is prepopulated with the company number of the record you're in. Options marked with (£) incur charges. Refer to Companies House's website for more details on costs.

Select Finish to complete the wizard.
The wizard closes and a document is listed in Verified and Queued status in Working Documents > Electronic Filing withElectronic Filing Data Download for [Company Number] as its description.

Go to Working Documents > Electronic Filing, select Send and Receive and complete the wizard to download the comparison report.
When the status of the document is Message Received, the comparison report is available.

Review the comparison report and take action as required.
