Working with issues from the Projects app

In Asset Manager, issues are fetched from the Projects app and are displayed in the Projects-Issues tab. Note that the asset must to be associated to a project for the issues to be fetched, else this tab will be empty.

The Asset Manager app requires a subscription to IT Risk Management (previously ITRMBond) or Third Party Risk Management (previously ThirdPartyBond).

How it works

If an asset is associated to a project, then in the Projects-Issues tab of that asset, the issues from the Projects app are displayed under the Projects - Open Issues by severity section.

This is applicable to both IT and third-party assets, and only those Issues that are in open state are fetched from the Projects app.

How to navigate to the issues?

Perform the following steps to view the findings:

  1. Open the Asset Manager app.
  2. Click the asset type that contains the asset you want to work with.
  3. Click the asset you want to work with.
  4. Go to the Projects-Issues tab.

The Projects - Open Issues by severity section is displayed.

Note

The asset must to be associated to a project for the issues to be fetched, else this tab will be empty.

Issues from the Projects app

The issues are fetched from the Projects app based on the projects and the risk categories the asset has been scoped with.

Note

The issues that are displayed in the Asset Manager app depend on the risk categories an asset is scoped with. Therefore, a project can have multiple risk categories, but findings are displayed from only those risk categories that were selected when scoping the asset.

Note

Interface terms are customizable, and fields and tabs are configurable. Elsewhere in Diligent One, risk categories may also be called objectives, sections, processes, cycles, functional areas, application systems, or another custom term.

What do the issues from the Projects contain?

The Projects-Issues tab shows the issues in two formats:

  • Pie chart showing issues, divided by severity, such as high, medium, and low.
  • Detailed list showing issues per project. You can expand the project to view issues per risk category, divided by severity.

Tip

You can click on the name of the project or the risk category to navigate to the Projects app if you want to make any changes.

Is the project issue data live?

Yes, the Projects - Open Issues by severity section shows live data. Real-time data is fetched into the Asset Manager app each time there is any change in the issues.
