Manage users
To access the Users page in Community, from the left navigation, select Settings and then select Users.The page displays a list of users, including their first name, last name, email address, and status indicating whether they are active. Select the MANAGE USERS button to add or delete users.

Updating users
After users is created in Diligent One Platform, you can update only details such as notification settings and policy settings. You can't modify their names or email addresses.

On the Users page, select the user for whom you want to update the details.
You can select a user by clicking their first name, last name, or email address. -
On the User page that appears, make the required updates.
You can update the following details:

Define roles Select the respective checkboxes if you want to assign public site administration or user administration. You can also enable the checkbox to manage recycle bin.

Admin notes
-
Change the status depending on whether a user is active or inactive.

Notification settings
-
Public profile info
-
Meeting groups
-
Document library settings
-
Policy settings
-

Select Save.
Create users by copying details
If you want to create a user and provide access to the same meeting groups and settings as an existing user, use the copy user feature.

On the Users page, select the checkbox next to the user that you want to copy.

Select COPY USER.
On the User page that appears, the meeting groups and permissions settings for the user are copied. -
Add the email address, first name, last name, and other required details.

Select Save.
A user is created with a Pending status. After you add and verify their permissions, you can add them to the Diligent One Platform. For more information, see Adding a user. After users are added to Diligent One Platform, they receive an email to set up their password to login.
Delete users
When you delete users, they no longer have access to Community. When deleted users try to access Community, they are redirected to the Community public site.
Note

When you delete users, the historical data of user actions are not erased in Community. You can still audit deleted users.

If you delete a user by mistake, contact Support to restore them.

On the Users page, select the first name, last name, or email address of the user that you want to delete.

On the User page that appears, go to the Options icon () , and select Delete.

In the confirmation dialog box, select Delete.
