Individually adding users
Invite existing Launchpad users to new or additional instances. In this situation, an automatic email notification informs the user of the invitation, but does not require the user to sign in.

Permissions
Only System Admins can individually add users to Launchpad.
Navigate to the Manage users page
- Open Launchpad.
- Select Platform Settings > Users. This opens the Manage users page.
If you do not see Users as an option, the account you used to sign in does not have Admin privileges.
- Click + Add user. The Invite new user window opens.
- Enter the following information:
Field Description First Name the first name of the user to be added
The character limit is 40.
Last Name the last name of the user to be added
The character limit is 40.
E-mail the email address of each user to be added
The character limit is 60. Email addresses can include apostrophes.
Note
Diligent One Platform does not support email addresses with accents or non-Latin characters.
NoteIf you need to change an existing user's email address, contact Support.
Role

There is no limit on how many users can be System Admins for an instance. For more information, see System-wide user types and group roles.
Subscription

Subscriptions define the role(s) a user can be assigned in each Diligent One app. For more information, see Managing licenses and subscription permissions.
Reports Role

the user's Reports access
For more information on roles in Reports, see Reports app permissions.
NoteThe Launchpad database is not synced with the Reports app. Users must open Reports once before they can be assigned access to reports, dashboards, and storyboards.
- Click Send invitation.
The user is added to Launchpad, and to the currently active instance, with the default role of User. An automatic email notification is sent to the user.
- Optional. To update the user's assigned Diligent One system-wide user type (Launchpad user type), subscription, or Reports access, hover your mouse over the appropriate value, click Edit , and use the dropdown lists. Diligent One automatically saves your changes.Note
The default Reports access is No Access. You need a Professional or Oversight subscription in order to be assigned a role in Reports.
- Optional. To add more users to the same instance, repeat steps 4 to 7.
- Optional. To add users to a different instance, select a different instance and repeat steps 2 to 6.
If your company uses more than one instance, in Diligent One, make sure the appropriate instance is active.
