Block or delete a user
Block or delete a user to remove access to files, folders, and data rooms. Users must first be deactivated before they can be blocked or deleted. For more information, go to Deactivate and reactivate a user.
Caution
After a user has been blocked the content of their data room will no longer be available and can't be retrieved. Make sure you save or transfer any important files.

Blocked users are not allowed to accept future invitations to the organization or Team Data rooms of the organization.

They cannot access folders that have been shared with them, however, they can still access links that were sent to them.

Anyone collaborating with the user should be advised remove access to these links. For more information, go to Revoke a link.

Blocked users can be unblocked if the reason for them being blocked changes.

Deleted users can accept future invitations to the organization or to team data rooms of the organization, and they can access folders that were shared with them.
Block a user

In the User tab select the user's more options icon .

Select Block from the menu.

Select OK.
The user's status displays as Blocked.
Unblock a user
To unblock a user they must first be deleted after which they can be re-invited.

In the User tab select Delete and unblock from the user's more options menu .

Read the notification message in the Delete and unblock user dialog.

Select OK.
The user is now removed from your Users view and can be re-invited.

In the User tab select Delete from the user's more options menu .

The user is now removed from your Users view.
