| General Comments | January 11, 2022 | Analytic Exchange 15.1.1 |
Security upgrade Analytics Exchange 15.1.1 is a patch release that addresses security vulnerabilities with some internal components used by AX Server and AX Engine Node. We have already made a manual patch available, and we are now incorporating the manual patch in a released version of Analytics Exchange. Learn more For more information about the vulnerabilities and the manual patch, see Patch critical security vulnerabilities (CVE-2021-44832, -45105, -45046, and -44228). Note If you have already applied the manual patch to Analytic Exchange 15.1.0 you do not need to upgrade to version 15.1.1. Versions 15.1.1 and 15.1.0 are functionally identical. The only difference is the inclusion of the patch in version 15.1.1. |

Internal components The following changes have been made to internal components in Analytics Exchange 14.2:
|
|
| Important | December 2019 | Analytics Exchange 14.2.0 | For enhanced security, the ACL Connector for Analytics Exchange no longer supports Transport Layer Security (TLS) 1.0 or 1.1. TLS 1.2 is now required. | AX-3895 |
| Important | December 2019 | Analytics Exchange 14.2.0 |
If you use the ACL Connector for Analytics Exchange to access analytics results, Analytics Exchange 14.2 requires version 14.2 of the connector server component. To avoid compatibility problems, upgrade the server component when you upgrade AX. This requirement does not apply to the ACL Connector for Analytics Exchange client-side ODBC driver, old versions of which are still compatible. However, we recommend that you use the latest available versions of all components when they are released. Learn more |
|
| Important | December 2019 | Analytics Exchange 14.2.0 | Port 80 has been disabled on AX Server. AX Engine Node still uses port 80 for unencrypted, non-SSL communication. Learn more | |
| Fixed | December 2019 | Analytics Exchange 14.2.0 |
Server tables no longer conflict with linked tables In previous versions of Analytics Exchange, importing a server table with the same name as a linked table and choosing not to overwrite the linked table created a problem. A "ghost" server table was created in the background, and could not be deleted, which meant that analytics would continue to run against the ghost table. This problem has been fixed by preventing the import of a server table in this particular scenario. Server tables can still be imported if you choose to overwrite the linked table, or if their import does not create an overwrite situation. Note The fix is not retroactive. It prevents the problem from occurring with tables newly created in Analytics Exchange 14.2 or in any future versions. Contact Support for help with tables created in earlier versions of Analytics Exchange that have the problem. |
