Off-boarding process

Completing the off-boarding process is essential to maintain the security of data within an organization’s Secure File Sharing space. Your IT department will complete the user's deactivation within the organization. As Organization Administer, you will need to undertake certain tasks to ensure that they no longer have access to files or folders that may have been shared with them.

You need to be in the Administration mode, accessible from your profile icon, to undertake this task.

Note

Deactivating the user will make their license available to other users.

  1. Deactivate and reactivate a user.

  2. You can choose to Block or delete a user.

  3. Ensure all active users are informed of the off-boarding and request that they Revoke a link to files or folders that may have been sent or shared with the user.
